The alien tried to crawl away, before a giant hand grabbed it by the ankle. "Close, but no dice." Kyle mocked, before lifting the alien over his hand, dangling upside down. "<Please, Lantern! Mercy!>" The alien screamed in its native language. The ring translated it for him. "Unfortunately for you, that's not my decision. The Corps paddy wagon is inbound; your fate, as an interstellar criminal, is their decision." Kyle floated up so he was eye-level with the alien, smirking. "Have fun."

Barry had finally managed to get some vacation time from Central City, but CPD didn't pay him nearly enough to go anywhere fancy. So he decided to visit an old friend who lived in Coast City, so that he could at least see the beach if he had the chance. But, while he could take time off of his day job, he just couldn't bring himself to take off of the other one.
And so, everyone's favorite red and golden blur was criss crossing this strange new city. The rush was just exhilarating. After a moment of running he stopped when he saw a man in a black and green floating in the air with a glowing green hand coming out of his hand as he grabbed a... thing.
"Huh."

The red and gold blur did not escape the notice of the resident space policeman. However, Kyle had better things to be doing, like making sure this criminal didn't get away before the Corps representative arrived to cart him off. So Kyle simply floated to a nearby rooftop, prisoner still grasped in a large green hand, and waited.

Flash stopped and watched what was happening, interested. What the Hell went on in in Coast City. The guy felt familiar somehow, like he had heard of him before. Barry felt that he had to get closer and see what was going on, but the question was; how? He couldnt fly, all he could do was run. And then, the speedster got inspired.
Barry ran backwards to get some distance, took a deep breath, and ran straight at the building. As he picked up speed, he desperately hoped that this would work. In the second it took to get to the wall, he managed to move fast enough to run directly up the wall and onto the roof.
"I didn't know I could do that."

And he was greeted by Kyle, wielding six Gatling gun constructs. "You have about 4 seconds to explain yourself before I shred your body to pieces."

Barry stood there, hands up, staring at the green man through wide eyes. "Uh... I'm from out of town and wanted to see what was going on. I'm the second Flash, I work out of Central City. What is that thing you're doing with your hand?"

"Oh this? It's my Power Ring. Let's me make all sortsa-wait, why am I telling you?" The six guns trained on Flash again. "Ah, what's the harm. I'm the Green Lantern of Sector 2814. Long story short, I'm a space policeman. The ring let's me make all this cool stuff."

"The only thing my ring lets me do is carry my costume around" Barry said, trying desperately to ignore the massive glowing guns trained on him. All he could think to do was keep talking, with his speech becoming faster as he did. "What is it, some kind of ancient magic no human could understand?"

"It's more like super-epic awesome tech. Or ancient space magic. They didn't tell me how it works, just that it does." Kyle contemplated his ring for a moment. How DID it work? Ah, he'd ask a Guardian whenever he made his way back to Oa.

"All I can do is run really fast" Barry admitted. "But I can move at near the speed of sound, so..."

"I guess that's pretty cool. Is it like only running or can you move certain parts of your body only?" Kyle dismissed his guns, but the hand gripping the space criminal stayed. He crossed his arms over his chest, floating with his toes pointed down. He thought the stance made him look more intimidating.
