Barbara Gordon had lived in Gotham City her whole life, but had never encountered such danger as she had a few nights ago. She had come face to face with death, you'd think she'd never want to leave her house again and cower under her sheets in fear, but Barbara wasn't frightened - she was excited. She had not only got a glimpse of the infamous Batman, she had actually been rescued by him!
Too bad she wasn't able to get a picture the first time..
Oh well, she thought, if it at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
She was once again walking the streets of Gotham at night, her camera at the ready.

Tim sat on top of a roof, stopping to take a rest. Bruce didn't usually like him striking out alone, but tonight he wanted to test his own mettle. He readjusted the spirit gum of his mask, pulled up his glove cuff, and tied his boots before standing up. He looked out over the city, arms crossed and cape blowing. Damn he loved the view at night.

"I think I've gone crazy.." Barbara muttered to herself, "I can't believe i'm actually considering this.."
But hey, it did work the first time, even if she didn't exactly mean to..
"Hey!" she said in a louder voice, "I'm a poor defenseless young girl, walking at night all by myself, what ever shall I do? I have no one, well if you don't count all this money in my pocket."
Her tone of voice sounded obviously fake, but hey she wasn't trying to win any Oscars. She was trying to bait the bait to bait the Bat. Try saying that five times fast.

Unfortunately, Batman wasn't out to hear her. Tim did a double take as he heard this. What kind of idiot would... what?N Did she WANT to get raped, robbed, and murdered in short order? Tim whipped out his staff and began looking and listening for this suicidal woman from his rooftop.

Barbara actually took out her wallet and began to wave it in front of her.
"I'm at least upper middle class," she continued, "So you know I have plenty of cash, not some chump change! There has to be at least twenty-twenty five dollars in here!"
Barbara stood silent for a moment before frowning.
"I guess crime must be having a slow night.." she muttered.

It didn't take Tim long to track down the woman who was shouting about having a lot of money, and as soon as he did he proceeded to stare in awe of her... idiocy? Poorly thought out plan? The redhead seemed to have some idea of what she was doing here, but Tim wasn't exactly sure what that plan was. Tim reached his hand into the inside of his hood, pressing the on button to his voice changer.
"Test, test, one two, there we go" Robin whispered to make sure the device was working. "Cool."
He shot out his grappling hook from his wrist, swinging down over the street before landing on the sidewalk close to her. Tim retracted his staff and put it away in his belt before apporaching her. "What the Hell are you doing?
